When the Right One Comes Along (Wenn der Richtige kommt)

After studies in Educational Science, Criminology and Youth Psychiatry, he enrolled at the Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg to study Directing and Screenwriting. Since 1993 he has also been a member of the improvisation theater Drama Light in Heidelberg. A selection of his films includes: Lass springen Baby(short, 1994), Twist mit Antje (short, 1996), Angst vorm Gott (documentary, 1998), Zu Besuch (1999), Pogge auf Brautschau (short, 1999), Die Wurstverkaeuferin (short, 2001), and the feature When the Right One Comes Along (Wenn der Richtige kommt, 2003).

Oliver Paulus was born in 1969 in Dornach/Switzerland. After studying Graphic Design in Basle, he worked as a freelance editor and enrolled at the Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg to study Directing and Screenwriting. A selection of his films includes: His Mother’s Voice (short, 1994), Zwischen Paris und Dakar (animated short, 1995), Reality (short, 1996), Der Tag an dem Otto kam (short, 1997), Eckfliesen (short, 1998), Die Wurstverkaeuferin (short, 2001), Das Geschenk(short, 2001), and the feature When the Right One Comes Along (Wenn der Richtige kommt, 2003).
